Ping Alden if you have his number (can fwd if you don’t.) I haven’t seen him in a while, he knows how to get to the good spots. Last fall he brought me and a buddy to a sandpit about the size of a football field. It was like a beach sand flat track with berm'd corners, sweet!

Well, I probably won’t have the bike in my possession for more than a week, need to get it registered and get an off-road sticker, probably need to respring it before I get into anything too serious. It might happen this year, but spring seems more likely.

Raced a harescramble there once way back in the day.

The never ending rock gardens didn't leave much room for enjoyment. Was a beat down for sure. Not sure if that is what you were referring to as the "bone-slab".

yes, that's exactly what i was referring to, flat with never ending knuckles. i don't mind rocks but i found that side super monotonous with little variation mile after mile. def teaches sitters to GET UP out of the saddle though! hahaa

...another FYI, talked to one of the trail bosses, the flyer doesn't mention specifically but you do need a NETRA membership for the Fun Run. if you are not a NETRA member, you can either do a year for ~$45 OR a day membership for the event only for $5. (there is also a $10 parking fee)

    Got it!

Loading the trailer now to head south to Auburn this afternoon. Where's a good place to eat near Auburn? Probably back into Worcester?
