    Need a Husqvarna TC50

My boy has outgrown the KDX50. (Sidenote, 2003 Kawi KDX50 for sale with training wheels, $800)

Want a TC50 husky, figure order now for next year?

    Any other suggestions?

Kinda would rather gears and no clutch to the tc50s single speed...

    Appreciate you guys help

will keep an eye peeled but make sure it doesn't have a clutch that engages like a Cobra. we had a CX50 for a bit but it was a purebred race machine, sucked balls in the yard. WAY loud and required WAY too much RPM to engage. typical light switch 2-stroke power, which is fun, but terrible when the kid just wants to ride it like a trail bike sometimes.

I'm open to any better suggestions for a next bike for him!

Something to bridge the gap between the KDX50 and the DS80.

He is only 6 and weighs 50 lbs. He needs more power and a lot more suspension now that he is starting to jump.

see if you can check out a CRF50, they're a bit bigger.

we went through the same thing with the younger one (now 7), PW50 > 80 was too tall/heavy although the older one (almost 9) made the transition fine (he's taller) ... younger one is loving the CRF50, way more power and 3 gears to work on shifting/power management ... the older one is loving the CRF110. we hit the track on Tues evening for a few hours, big smiles.

yeah, height wise not a ton of difference but a tad more suspension, def more power, a lot more weight and gears ... doesn't mean it's a match for you guys but worth checking out. i had written them off until they did the Planet Dirt school and he loved it. learning to shift and kickstart a heavier machine has also been good for him.

...forgot to mention we also sized up the various SSR/Pitster bikes and they were either too tall or the brake levers too far ... so he wasn't quite there yet
