Lucky bastid... I've still got about 100ft of open water on this side!!

Hobbled over to the river yesterday to have a look-see. Water was still running under the ice in the channel. Bay is probably safe in the shallow areas though. Another few days of cold and I'll stud the crutches and take the kids for a walk. The cr125r may not get out there for a few months though....

The cove is about 8" thick. Besides the sleds & ATV's & shit out there, we just witnesses a car and two trucks zipping across the lake...

There is 8"+ in the few Ma./So.N.H. places we rode the past few days.The ice was nice and hard,but a bit ripply in spots.

Yes indeed you are correct.Alan just plowed an oval this afternoon,should be bigger than last year's.I was out there on glare ice last Thursday before the snow came in.It was awesome riding,no snowbanks,etc.Most likely going to hit it tomorrow.
