The main beach on Varney would probably be YOUR best bet. Although by this afternoon my backyard will be dirt. It's pretty much there already...

Looks like over by No Shore may be your best bet, Randy. There IS a trail now down by the marina, but you'd hafta ride all the way down to where the track is. Over by the colony offices looks good too, but again you'd hafta ride all the way over. Not sure you'd get down the main Varney beach, it's not as packed as it's been...

Track's actually looking better than I thought it would. Canaan & I ran about 20 laps around it, cleaning it up and widening it. Got it over 2 (utility) quad widths wide in most spots now. I didn't raise the skids on the plow yet though, but that's the plan this afternoon. I'll drop the plow down and just run around the fucker for a coupla hours more, widening it and cleaning it. I've used far more petrol plowing the fuggin' thing that actually riding it...

Got my other 500 screws too. I should be done with me tires tonight!

I'm not even sure I can get to it yet. We got a decent dumping of heavy, wet white shit. I'm skeptical of even taking the plow down there. If I get stuck, I'm stuck out in the middle of the lake with no one around - I'm screwed. I'm headin' out shortly to test a few areas before I even attempt that. I could use another plow up here, for sure. Something with some pulling power in case I get stuck...

You just may get that chance to help then. The track's a complete mess. Once again, we were 'wunna those pockets' that got 10-12 inches. By the time I was able to get out there, it was a wet, heavy mess...

I did about 20 laps with the plow and was struggling to get it much wider than an ATV. All that snow falling on the spots we dug up most just blanketed the slush and kept it nice & warm. Lots of black - but not clear, ice in those spots (hard acceleration, hard braking, high-speed turn). I was actually starting to get nervous going over those areas...

It's gonna take a ton of work to clean up & get back to what it was this weekend. Another ATV with a plow would be good. But I think my best bet would be a coupla snowblowers. Few laps around with those and we'd be good to get at it with the plows...

Getting out there's a challenge right now too. I'm gonna make some phone call & see if I can get some buddies & their kids to ride the shit outta our cove with their sleds to pack it down for us again. The bottom of our hill's starting to get a bit rutted too. I gotta do something in that spot too. Not sure what. It's gotta fill in the rut, but it's gotta provide our studs something to bite on too. Still trying to figure that one out...

I'm gonna TRY swinging some time out there Friday. It looks like temps'll be in the teens overnight this week, which should help those soft spots. At least there's a line that been cleared now, so maybe the cold nights'll help get those solid again...

I have a snowblower, it's not very strong and does not deal well with slush. I'd probably be better off with a shovel, but I'm down for whatever it takes. I can likely be up Friday afternoon to help out. This snow was heavy as hell. We got about ten to twelve inches down here too. Giggady.

I've got the plow and a snowblower. If you're up for coming up Friday, go for it. I'll do what I can to get it squared away again. If I didn't hafta go into work this morning, I'd have been all over it. When I left here at 5:00 this morning, it was still light & fluffy. Then that heavy, wet shit fell all morning & mosta the afternoon while it warmed up. I also shoulda hit it when we were done yesterday too - lesson learned there. Next time, I'll leave myself time to do some clean up when we're done. Between my yard & the track, I plowed like almost 40 miles today!
