not great at finding parts for my KTM 500EXCF

I'm pretty tall at 6'4", and even though the 500 is a big bike, I still find it very hard to ride standing up.

I want to do a handlebar riser and drop pegs, but haven't had much luck.

Any recommendations of parts or at least companies?

    Thanks

I’d do one at a time, small changes can make significant differences. On my smaller KDX I ran 2” risers and had the bars pushed forward quite a bit. On my CRF I just run the Pro Taper Woods Bend bars and that gives me enough room. IIRC the KTM bars are fairly flat, my Woods Bend bars give it a couple of inches of rise. Play with the angle of the bars in the bar clamps, rotate them forward a bit then reset the angle of your clutch and brake lever.

What’s your standing posture? Shouldn’t be anything close to straight up. More of an athletic stance like a linebacker lining up pre-snap.

It takes quite a bit of time and experience to dial in your cockpit properly. You’ll know when you hit it. I wouldn’t fuck with foot pegs until all other options have been exhausted.

    too late.

The pegs are adjustable for a small drop or no drop, and the bars are 5-30mm rise, so I have lots of options.

Currently I'd say I cant even ride standing up as my posture is ridiculous.

I put like a 10" riser on my sled so I can stand up better, so this is pretty minor.

I dont think the stock bars are all that flat

Cool. Would still encourage making 1 change at a time and riding with it a bit before making another change. No different than troubleshooting anything else.

I run Rox risers on 1290 and 300. Incredible difference in comfort. You can stand all day, so you might not even care about dropping the pegs, though you're 3"s taller than me.

    6' 4" here on '21 Husqvarna TE300i

I am using the Fastway Evo foot pegs in their lowest position, have moved my bar clamps to the forward position and running Flexx bars which are relatively tall bars and I still don't feel as though my posture when standing is quite what I want. I have resisted using bar risers to this point however I may take a look and try some next season.

Due to my standing posture not being quite what is comfortable, and me being a fat bastard, I wind up riding sitting quite a bit and a Seat Concepts tall seat makes that more bearable. I don't recommend this though. Standing more than not is definitely the way to go.

Pegs and risers are on and I like them quite a bit. The down and back position of the pegs is nice, fits my size 15 dirtbike boots MUCH better.

Riser is nice, I think I could use some more rise, but it gets ridiculous at some point. Kinda maxing out the cables as it is, no binding though.

I took before and after from roughly the same angle to get an idea of the difference.
