Intermediate looking for fellow riders

I'm a intermediate-ish rider who lives in Braintree, MA. I'm looking to get to know some other riders. I typically ride Freetown (yea I've seen ��&#128064), and been to Hodges. Open to explore other areas too.

Yeah I've been hitting up Hodges once or twice a month as it's just 20 minutes down the road. I'm in that "intermediate" spectrum as well & although I usually ride with a couple of guys that are a bit more advanced than I am, I'm closin' the gap!

Clinton (typeone on here) rides dirt quite often as well. We bump into him on occasion.

I'll try & remember to let you know next time we head out.

I’d put myself at the low end of intermediate and live fairly close to Hodges. I have focused more on the dirty end of the adv spectrum until last year, now trying to build up more and more off-road skills.

Seems like everyone rides Hodges. I pretty much only ride weekends. Does it get busy on weekends? I heard the trails are not one way; does it become a problem? Hoping to linking up with you guys.

Like to go.. I ride low intermediate ( what is that exactly?)
but I crash pretty expertly.

After my PA trip I'm feeling very confident....

I’m up to ride as well. Haven’t ridden much this season but started the ole XCF up this weekend and transitioned from ice to single track. Will be riding clough Sunday and live in Waltham.

Waiting on my sticker for Hodges still.

I'm thinking wtf, wasn't this guy on my first group ride to the vanilla bean cafe over 20 years ago? he is far past intermediate looking for other riders at this point.

my schedule used to allow for some Friday fun but it's rare lately so Sat will prob be my usual this season. few buddies and i hit HVD super often, Wrentham now and then, and October Mountain when we want some western action.

Hodges gets very busy on the weekends but really depends if there is an event going on. the two-way does suck at times, but we prefer to ride the whole place and tend to stay away from the open oval at the begining with some endurocross features and the sand pit area a bit further in. those can be the busy spots.

even when packed, we rarely have issues. the upper trails (above OHV parking) are always vacant.

EDIT: forgot to mention that the EPO have been there every time i've gone this season, which is great, weeds out the illegal riders ... but be prepared for VIN and paper check.

i haven't been able to do any week days this season yet but Sat/Sun they seem to be there way more frequently. i rode Sat afternoon, place was dead, but EPO passed/waved as i drove in.
