Wirelessly posted (GS3)
Hoping to do this this year.
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

There were "no registrations required" last year. Not even a MA ORV reg. This event was just like any other NETRA "all off road" event in that regard. An EPO was present last year, but he only stayed a short time, and he never got out of his vehicle. This year should be the same.
we've been practicing the 'Hero Rock Gap' up top, passes are getting cleaner with each run... except right after a good rain. that's a shitshow.
psyched for this event.

so i was just reading this one on the NETRA site. looks like about a 4 mile loop. is that correct?
seems that the king philip TR is a 60 mile loop. anyone doing that one on 11/9?

hmm, we did an ~18mi loop at Jack Frost last year.
Beta 200RR
actually, I take that back. forgot we did one full and one half loop. ( I think )

I think JC and I did the kptr last year. 11/9 is the very last race of my season, so I won't make it this time. It's a pretty great loop though.

anyone know what the requirements will be for the bike at either the JF or KPTR? may be able to rope in a guy from work.

No requirements for JF, as it's closed course. Kptr requires an enduro setup. Head/tail/brake, and a street reg.

JF Fun Ride (Sunday, 11/2) is a fund raiser, and as such, has no registration requirements, - Just pay the $20 entry fee ($25 for non-NETRA folks), and the $10 Parking donation, and ride.
KPTR is the following weekend - 11/9. AFAIK - This is a standard NETRA Turkey Run, and requires a valid street registration, license, and lights that work.
Information on both can be found at New England Trail Rider Association | Your premier connection to off-road riding and racing in the Northeast
i think im out for the JF. a little too far to travel. im still very interested in the KPTR if anyone wants to do that.
