Since we're on the subject of race, how come the originators and some of the greatest rock and roll musicians were black, but all we're left with now is like ... sevendust?
Can we trade 9/10s of the black "musicians" today just to get Hendrix back for one all star record or something?
And it already starts...

Dumb Ass!
So the real question is.....if you are Stewart, with millions of dollars and tons of talent and whatnot....why the hell are you playing cop on a sunday night? Can't you find anything better to do?!?! What a loser.

Knowing he cannot get a good start in the finals he was trying to see if this method would work on the street before implying this tactic on the track.

I think he should be thrown in prison for a couple years to set an example for those disrespecting the Law enforcement profession....
Who's with me!?
Okay but that's funny no matter what you make of the situation.
Also the effed-up thing is that if he tried that crap with me I would have been like,
"Dude man bro you're not a cop.... you're Bubba Stewart, the G.D. Jackie Robinson of MotoCross... you're all over my blog dude and I prolly can't kick yer ass but I am calling yer daddy right now so he will!!!"

Check it, word up. Most of the good black (and non black) musicians these days are on smaller labels. So the problem isn't so much that black musicians suck these days, many of them suck but the prollem is that with fewer numbers the suckiness is more pronounced. Even BEP I liked initially then they went all blingy. Folks in my family have been involved in the music industry (and we are from Ohio the funk capital of the world in many ways) and we talk about this all the time
FWIW Outkast was excellent.
I never really cared for Bubba, always though he was kinda a punk. A Ricky Carmichael or MaGrath he will never be no matter how fast he is.

What are the chances they thought they were pulling over someone they knew? Why else would you pull up alongside the car?
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

They weren't trying to pull anyone over!
And listening to the 911 call from the offduty cops suggests they were second guessing themsleves if in fact they were trying to pull them over..oh yeah, there's no doubt they were pulling us over.
The cover story from team JS7
Bubba was rushing to the airport to try to get his friend Thames to his flight on time. They were running late and were battling typical Orlando rush hour traffic…which can have you stand still for hours. James has red and blue lights in his toyota 4 runner…and when he realized they may miss the flight, he made the unfortunate decision to use them to get through traffic. That was wrong and obviously people cant do that anytime they are late for a flight. However, he did not try to “pull over” another car as the media may have stated! He was simply trying to move through traffic faster via his unfortunate prank of having blue and red lights. Obviously not a good idea, and you can rest assured that Big James is not happy at all!!…but we all have done something stupid in our lives…and I guess this was james turn. he is still a champion and now he shows us that he is human too. I trust that he will refocus on the series championship and get back to what he is best at: winning races!!
Yamaha
Lol. STILL a stupid idea. And why have the red and blues?
On an unrelated side note, I was down in puerto rico surfing and all the emergency vehicles run their lights whenever moving. I kept pulling over thinkin, man, there's a lot of action down here, but I noticed no one else moving out of the way. Very strange practice indeed. How do deaf people know when there is a real emergency?
eh, Everyone freaks about someone doing something dumb. Whatever. Dude is rich, probably not super mature, probably a bit "above the law". He did something some of us might try if we thought we could get away with it!
I think its funny how many angels we have on here... remember no one ever said Bubba is a brain surgeon. He races motorbikes. Pretty sure you only need a minor in astrophysics for that.
I think its funny as hell, sucks it didnt work for him! Slap on the wrist, back to the track!

Well that does explain a lot, once again the media portraying something as stupid and evil, when really just kinda' stupid but also kinda' excusable, unless someone is playing holier than thou as you stated.
Frankly I am very relieved to hear this explanation, I can almost see how that went down now.
Suddenly goes from impersonating an officer to improper use of emergency lights. Bit of a difference there.
Intent is everything. If you shoot somebody and kill them, it isn't necessarily murder. What if you were protecting your home and he was an intruder?
If that was you, me or any Joe Shit The Rag Man in USA it would've been improper use of emergency lights - case closed.
Because he's famous, the cops "interpreted" his intent right then and there on the spot and are, I'm sure, already wheeling the yard arm out in front of the station.
I'm quite certain James didn't state that he was a police officer upon moving through traffic, or upon his pullover.
Give the Dude a break - throw a (well deserved) fine at him and some community service for the young'uns - and lets all move on, shall we?
For Chrissakes - THERE'S A CHAMPIONSHIP ON THE LINE HERE!

I agree that using the lights to get through traffic is just stupid, unlike the originally story of intentionally pulling people over by pretending to be a cop. One has intent (which is why I lambasted it so much), one is just stupid. I definitely did stupid things as a kid (I never said I was an angel), but usually with a goal in mind (as his getting to the airport on time was a goal), not just for the lulz.
