Pretty sure I am not who you think I am.

I'll check the tire size I have and if it is an 18" it is up for grabs. If it is 19" it is still up for grabs just won't be of much use for either of you.

    No worries.

Checked the tire this morning and it is a 19" so of no use to either of you.

Anyone that has a 19" rear wheel and wants to play with a sand tire, same offer is there. Tire is free for the taking. I think it had maybe 3-4 laps of Southwick on it since new. Been stored in my basement for a while. It is a Kenda Sand Mad which a quick Google search came up with

VERY kind of you man, such a great community we have here.

Out of curiosity, is a 19" rear found more on race bikes?

19 is usually mx. 18 is woods.

I think I have a 19, I'll take it Joel. I'll double check my bike tomorrow.

In moto 1, 15:50 in the first video I totally nerfed an older guy out of the line on accident.
But karma got me two laps later (5:20 in second video). Made a pass in the same spot, knifed the front going into that turn/hill, and tipped over.
A couple little battles otherwise, and a few decent passes.

Oh, forgot about the big cluster F on the first lap. First video at 10:25.

Nice runs! I felt your pain in moto one with that lowside after the extreme section, it is so easy to tuck the front in the sand! Picking the bike uphill out of that hole must have sucked.

You do such a great jon getting in the mix and banging bars on the start, I HATE that part. Im always afraid to go down and get run over, which you can see happen to someone in my vid, poor guy.

Also, that guy going down RIGHT in front of you in the extreme on the first lap was pretty shitty too, but what are you gonna do. Nice job out there.

There are MUCH MUCH better editing program out there, but I like the OLD windows movie maker quite a bit.

You can click and drag your vid into it, then you can go past all that dead air at the beginning, hit pause, right click and click "split" then just hit delete on that whole first part, same as the end. You can drop like 15 minutes of dead air off your vids pretty easy. Also easy to do a title screen, and fade in/outs.

All the newer/nicer ones I try are too complicated and do too much. Its like photoshop vs just a quick edit to crop a pic.

Like Sam mentioned the 19" wheel seems to be the standard for MX bikes and the 18" is standard for the Enduro/Trail bikes

The 19" tires typically would have a slightly shorter, stiffer sidewall and be less likely to roll over at the higher speeds of MX/SX racing

The 18" tires typically would have the taller softer sidewall and be not necessarily as stable at higher speeds but have the ability to spread out and grab the surface for traction when needed as well as a slightly taller sidewall used for absorbing sharp hits and roots/rocks without causing pinch flats at lower pressures

That being said I rode in the woods for a long time with a 19" wheel/tire combo with no real issues other than tire selection. Old bike now has an 18" wheel and new bike came with 18" wheel which allows me to run more enduro specific tires that I want to run.

Here's a vid of my first lap moto 1, it is a shit shot, I miss the start cause I cant see the flagger, turn 1 guy on my left gets run over while a guy on my right also goes down, 4:05 I blast a tree, 5:45 I lowside....

I started out more in the mix then I usually do then it was all downhill from there.

He is a shorter edit of mostly just the crashes from both motos (2:15 total) for your viewing enjoyment.

Out of curiosity, why are there people on the race course on mountain bikes? Slightly dangerous for them and the racers.

Bro, there are people walking, I've seen dogs on the track, people on mountain bikes, etc.

It's kinda weird. They clear the track better for the bigger races I believe.

Ok, starting to get hyped for Southwick. Such an abusive relationship....
