So a group of my freinds from the ZRX board have planned another weekend up at Jericho Mt. We plan to be there the second weekend of June and ride all weekend. Maybe a few of the NESR people would like to hang too. Just to get an idea of the trails and pace check out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5Ewkn-eupY

I'm gonna have that fucking song in my head for weeks...

i was watching thinking damn that's one hell of a wheelie until I realized it was just the camera position.
That is a video by a rather eccentric friend, hence the music choice. From that video on youtube check out the other videos he has posted under Mike Perlman, Toaster Dance or 123 Party. He was even on TV until Simon Cowell cut his rendition of "I believe in a thing called love" by the darkness. Kind of a whack job but fun to hang with.
Anyway... The trails there are a little of everything. Some fast doubletrack, some full on dirt roads, some black diamond stuff that you need a trials bike for. The MVTR has a few nice trails cut straight up a mountain. So anything you might want is there to ride.

I remember watching a few of those other videos. Now I wanna meet this character.

There's a couple fun trails at Jericho, getting around the side by sides can be a pain. The single track is silly, doesn't get ridden much so it gets overgrown; I think I could see about 12" of trail in front of the bike. Is the campground done yet?

I may be down. Already planning on two definite Jericho weekends (1 trip with the tribe, 1 trip with some locals), with possibilities for a third weekend. I'm gonna double check what the planned dates are...

My KTM just overheated in the garage watching that.
And I had to resist the urge to keep popping quarters in with that YPL FM Synth music...
that single tracks makes cloughs look like a superhighway
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

I am heading up there next weekend for my second time on a dirt bike! Pumped, nervous, etc. I'll be on a borrowed vintage DT175.

Ummm...i rode the bt with you and bill. I think it was when bill submarined his bike
iirc while it was definitely narrower than the regular trails, i remember at least being able to to pick a line. There was a lot of no variation from the line in the vid, especially with the overgrowth
The single track at Jericho was only cut a year or two ago and it isn't ridden as regularly as the well established trails in Clough. As people become aware of it and regulars start to use it more often, it should open up a bit.
