A handful of us are planning on doing it again this coming Sunday. Should be all kindsa skill levels this time around. My wife'll be out on her little 250, my father inlaw'll be out puttin' around on his couch, and I'll probably pull the plow off the 'Cat (winch operated, of course - the ONLY way!) and take Tovah for a spin toward the end of the day too...

The surface was smooth as shit this weekend, but had a nice sandpaper-like texture to it. We were able to do clutchless wheelies in 3 & 4th gear on the Rappy's...

Knock on wood, but I've yet to get checked ANYWHERE I've ridden in the last year. But as for the lakes around me - we hardly see any one out there, never mind F&G...

sunday, don't know if i can swing that. saterday i might be able to drag a buddy along two split the gas bill. its aleast 1 and a half to your neck o' woods. funny i was in wolfboro visiting the moms for easter yesterday. should have brought the quad. i would have had to pull that faggity winch plow off first.

I wanted the biggest, lightest, most powerful, downright best sportquad on the market. The current crop of the 450 racers aren't made for trails. A good salesperson will tell you that the motors in those are built for all out WFOT and have a hard time with the constant rev range that most trail riding requires...

Before I got the 660 last summer, I was looking at the 400 sporties (used). But the prices were about the same for the 660. I made the mistake of taking a new fuel-injected 700 for a ride and I was sold...
