    High-Lift work stand

Anyone have any experience with these types of stands or maybe even this vendor in particular?

Since both (OK, technically I still only own one) of my bikes are now of the MX framed variety, I'm tempted to get one, but there's no way I'm dropping a few c-notes for the brands from dealers/DK, etc. $100 seemed reasonable, though.

Along those lines, I'm a big fan of a lot of harbor freight stuff (mostly because I have the tools to fine tune the kinks out, I suppose), but has anybody ever tried one of these?

No, but I'm looking for a heavy duty lift stand (regular height) as well.

I dunno... that thing looks a lil sketch, no? Take a wheel off, unbalance the load and look out...
Maybe if it had a bigger base? Maybe I'm just distracted by their dirty models?

isn't that why they made duct tape?

Tape the fucker to the stand and no worries.

Since when do you specifically order anything in "regular height'?

    Yummy dirty models...

    ..
    ..
<Focus> Oh yeah.. It has a larger footprint than most stands, so despite that fact that its higher, it actually ought to be more stable... That is, if it doesn't fall off a regular stand when you take the wheel off, it shouldn't fall off of this one..

Though if it does fall, its going to get ugly I guess...

I like that hydrolic pump lift, though as mentioned, I wouldn't want to pull a wheel..or even worse a wheel and the forks/swinger to put it off balance.
For what's it's worth, the SXV with a full tank is 304lbs

An upclose demo like the video would be nice, maybe even lay on the ground as she jacks it up to see the moving parts

I have one of these Harbor Frieght jobs for the rear. It works perfect but if my RR swingarm was a 1/2 inch bigger it wouldn't fit.

Can't complain for $35 bucks. If you look around the interwebs you should be able to coupon which is what I used.

I don't know, that took her quite a few pumps to get it up...
