Question Looking For a Dual Sport

I'm hoping to get out on the trail again this year after a looong hiatus (decades!)
Looking for a smallish, reasonably priced dual sport to add to the stable.
Been haunting CL several times daily, nothing yet...

Any of the smaller dealers in the region one might suggest?
    OR
If anyone knows of a suitable mount looking for a home...

    (I'm leaning strongly toward a DR350!)

Believe those aren't street legal... hence they're 'single sports'... YZ's too.

Hoping to find a good one not too much more than 1k.

it was a xt before spell checker fixed it.

both are street legal with lights directionals.

neither are in your price range

I know it's not "smallish" But I will be selling my 2002 KTM 520 EXC once the title comes in. I've been waiting for it for months. Let me know if that's something you would like.

1000 bucks won't get much in the dual sport category. The tags alone are worth about 1500...

    here's a plated '92 WR200 for $850 up in NH.

that would make for a great street legal trail/woods bike but not sure how much 'DS' you need.

More than an enduro offers... it's a long way to the woods from my neighborhood.
Plus enduros are not street legal at all in RI to my knowledge.

got it on style of DS.

that WR is street legal, he's already done the work to make it fully legit, RI included. it has a real plate.

Paul just means it's not cheap to get a dirt bike road legal. takes money, time and effort.

Too much effort plus I want something more 'domesticated' than an enduro, electric start, etc... I'm no hot-dog dirt rider.
A 200 is too small for the long pavement ride needed to reach off-road areas comfortably as well.

Thanks for the info and suggestions guys, keep 'em coming!

Question Found A Nice DR350 - Service Manual?

Picked up a nice '98 yesterday, 4000 mi. only minor cosmetic blemishes, bark busters otherwise almost original.
Didn't come with factory Owner's Manual, just 2 silly Suzuki safety booklets for novices.

Searched all over the net (Ebay, Amazon, Google...) for service manuals without success except downloads.
    Clymer only has '90 - '93 available.

Can anyone point me to a source for paper 1998 inclusive service manuals?
