I'd be wicked in shape and stuff
Yeah, a hot and humid afternoon! What was I thinking? I had wanted to do a little street riding but the SXV said no, so I decided to hit the trails
Sadly, i don't ride these trails often even though most are on my own property.
Put some gas in the KTM, checked the oil, lubed the chain, geared up and I was on my way. it was hot so I had to take some breaks and take a few pictures..









Even found some mud, now I need to clean the bike









9.8 miles for the evening.



Average speed of 14.4mph Yeah, so what, I'm slow but i didn't fall

I managed roughly 23 or so miles and it was hot .

Yeah, I was kinda bummed I was only able to ride for 5 miles when you were hear Saturday
Todd and I cut that trail in the early spring and got all excited to ride...and I've been on that section maybe three times now, today being the third. Still needs some work, a few trees cut and a go around for a couple of the rocks. Of course it still needs to be completed as far as length.

Oh, and I investigated Is***** Rd Sunday afternoon. Coming from the pavement, the trail/road is less than 1/4 mile up on the left. Like you said, the gun club signs on the right...but the boulders are there that you need to go around like I was talking about. Some cool single track in there, though it's short

riding on your own property rocks! I can only get on my parent's backyard but I def. go out a lot more frequently (sometimes daily?) because it's convenient, and just fun.

I said the same thing a few years ago. If I had my own place, I'd be riding everyday and night..I'd never sleep, just ride....

like right now the trails are so cluttered with tree debris from the ice storm last year that I will prolly not get to do any decent day riding till next fall .... unless I go to Mark's house or CH or franklin .......

It's a bit warm now. My nephews came up this morning and we rode for a while, probably until 1pm and it just got to hot.
I was up early and swapped the dirty wheels back to the YZ and ended up riding that...sure is a handful in the trails and I managed to spend some quality time on the ground with the bike. Not much damage, just a few scratches on the rear fender.
Sitting here I feel very sore, but not sure if it's from riding today or the trackday in New Jersey yesterday
