These guys are having way too much fun! I like that they're using backpacks instead of jamming everything on the bike. Once you wear a pack for a while you kind of forget it's there.
Anyone know what he was using for those custom screens?

That's pretty awesome. They'll never use all that power though...

Start small.
A weekend here, maybe there, to get your feet wet, and see what kind of adventure you actually want to pursue.
As awesome and epic as something like this is, at some point it becomes tedious, routine, and maybe even like work.
But that is, in fact, all part of the adventure.

Lol, the support vehicle was a serious luxury, but other than that the trip was rustic by american standards. I have also done the cook every meal thing. I thru-hiked the AT. I don't think it's much of a burden with gas powered vehicles to haul the gear around. I'm not sure why they are bothering though. In latin america you can get great food for next to no money absolutely anywhere.

Yes, if you can habla espanol.
Since I can barely speak English and definitely no hablo espanol, I resorted to taking a photo of the first good meal I accidentally came across and then showed it to every restaurant/cook from then on and said "esta! esta!!" for the rest of the trip. It worked.

You guys are definitely thinking way bigger than me! I've been determined to do some motocamping since I got on two wheels. My lofty goal right now is 3-4 days in northern Maine. If I could pull that off without dying, breaking limbs, blowing up my bike, etc. I'll be ecstatic. Ride all day, camp at night, cook up dank food, maybe some whiskey and some ukelele under the stars, as little exposure to society as possible.... ahhhhh
Woah there, hate is a strong word my man.
My wife hates bananas too and we literally just had a debate about this last night, lol
WHAT GIVES WITH THE BANANA HATE!
Side note: banana margaritas are a thing, I just discovered this.
AT is one of my long-term goals. I definitely need to get over the anxiety, discomfort and fear of being away from work, hoe & family for more than a few days. I feel like once my daughter grows up it'll be a little easier to relax and stop worrying about everything in the real world... will have to come to terms with me neuroses at some point too I guess Right now my limit is basically two nights..
Assuming you did drops for the AT, did you go mostly dehydrated foods or just reup more often?
