I'm sure he does, but will they honor the claim is another question? It's one thing for the roof to cave in under natural conditions, but 5 workers on a roof (are they qualified roofers?) turning an evenly spread load on the roof into an uneven mess with pointloads (snow piles) is asking for trouble.
The snow has been up there for a while with no issues, it didn't fail until he started to move the snow around. And if it didn't fail with the rains the area had Saturday, chances are it wasn't going to

No! I was supposed to go down there next week, hope they reopen soon.

    Glad to see everyone's ok.

I would be very surprised if the insurance company did not cover this, even with employees on the roof.

I am always convinced that the moment you stop being a payer and become a payee that the entire insurance industry perceives you as an enemy and a thief.

We agree there. Insurance is a scam.

Just slightly more doomed than it was the day it opened. I think the only reason why the doors stayed open is because the backers wouldn't know what to do with it if they foreclosed.

My guess: The insurance money will pay the investors and the place (what's left of it) will sit and rot.
