Paige & I stopped by to scope the place out and found Paul putting the big hurt on his poor KDX. Nice work out there, Paul.

Haha! Thanks Chris, I think the KDX was putting the hurt on me though... I never got comfy riding this track. I did manage to clear that table a few times in my last session though...

I don't think my body was up to a supercross type track yet. The first double I missed, my ankle buckled, and I just never wanted to push after that. I was happy to cruise around with the minibikes and watch the little kids shred.

I wasn't feeling confident enough to try ANY doubles because, though not huge, the ramps were STEEP and the penalty for not making them would be large. I finally got through the whoops OK and started really going for it on the spectator jump. I even rode with the big boys!

OK, that whole night was a little embarrasing, but I have a few excuses!!!

    Alex looked good out there...

Word! Thank man. Sorry I blew it and showed up a bit late. Think I missed the photographer ChR1s as well..doh. You were definintely the badass on the dinosaur, loved it. Got my props.

I ended up riding till about 9pm and left at 10pm and went with lil Joey and his family to Friendly's for some snacks! Sorry I missed you on the way out Paul :/

Joey rode from about 4pm till 9:15pm and was ripping basically non-stop. After he destroyed his rear wheel on his RM85 I let him do some laps on my CRF250.. OH MY GOD. Kid is 4'10" and 70lbs... my bike is sprung for me who weights 190lbs... he's never ridden a CRF250 before and within 3 laps his completely airing that finish table and schooling some of the rythem sections. Everyone was flipping out... pretty nuts.

Can't wait for next time! Bike needs some serious loving before then however.

RM85? Kid doing back to back sessions? He had that track pretty much dialed and was ripping. Nice & fluid, too.

No more pics, as I only had a long, crappy lens with me and not enough light to work with.

As someone that has never ridden a full-on SX or MX track, the place looked fun, but non-stop obstacles would have me beat for sure. It was cool to see how some riders were using seat-bumps, rear brake taps and scrubs to control their bikes over the jumps.

Although they had to shut down for a bit to let the air clear, we were told that's only because school's out and there're a lot more riders on the track this week? At $75 for an entire day, I think it's worth it. If I can get healed up enough and get some conditioning riding in, I'd give it a try. Oh, and AFTER I pick up an EVS race collar.

Yeah, I think a collar would have been helpful. Especially since my back isn't really strong yet. I hit my face on my crossbar a few times. Doh!!! That's NOT how it's done.

Chris, I think you'd have a lot of fun. You have the bike for it! However, an outdoor MX track is MUCH easier to get started on as the obstacles are more natural looking an feeling. It's closer to woods riding. SX is very different.

I did learn a little before I decided to call it quits. If it weren't for the price, I'd try it again when I'm fully fit. I think I could hit the rythym sections by at least doubling some crap and that would really make it a ton more fun.

Yea that's Joey, dude doesn't stop the rock. He came out in the Big Bike sessions after I got there and we were goon riding around. Well he was goon riding and I was trying to keep up. We'd hit that tabletop side by side screaming YAAAAAAA in midair. Heh. Fun shit.

I quaded into the whoops finally. BOOYA. Next up is double tripling thru the rythem section.
