Neck brace?

I am just about done getting the equipment needed for MXing. Last on the list would be a neck brace. Recommendations? Pros and cons? Please educate me. Thanks in advance, Mike

Leatt Brace hands down, Not cheap but the best on the market. I wont ride or race without mine.

I like my EVS brace. It's lighter, but arguably less protective than the leatt. Leatt offers the stiffest protection, but there's something to be said for energy absorption ala crumple zones, etc. sometimes softer may be better. Much cheaper too.

I have a leatt club gpx, its great. First time I rode with it and adjusted it, I couldn't even tell it was there anymore

Originally I thought of giving mine a try for road racing but the stance/tuck on the bike just doesn't allow for decent movement, mostly just due to the straight aways

On the leatt club model it comes with a different mount of some sort because of helmet "float" at higher speeds. Anyway that is what I read. This is what I decided on.

i have the leatt adventure. same protection (supposedly) as the club but with less adjustments to fine tune fitment so its cheaper. i can't even tell i'm wearing it.

ya those are both good choices, I got the club and glad I did because I had to adjust it a fair amount to make it fit me well.

+1 for the Leatt GPX Club. i bought Tony's old one and couldn't be happier. took a little fine tuning but i dont even notice it on while riding.

not sure if you already have one but... keep chest protector fit in mind as you look at braces. my older Fox (airframe i think?) works well with the Leatt but i'm going to try a TLD next season i think.

I have the club brace as well Fits good but sometimes it digs into my neck, But Its most likely because I have not messed with the adjustment
