I have the alpinestars one above I like it alot and Never notice it when im riding It did save My ass (neck) in a BIG Crash but it did separate my shoulder in the process But I will take a bad shoulder over a broken neck.
Next year I am gonna try the omega Below I know some People running it and it supposed to "Next level" protection to save your shoulders and And collar bone as well using a wider dispersion of force using straps.

one thing i read about the astarts is that some people have said their helmets were able to slide over the brace because its not wide enough. pretty much defeats the purpose of wearing one.
love my leatt adventure and just picked up a gpx. can't even tell i'm wearing one.

ALL Alpinestars MOTOX gear falls apart. I not been able to get a full season out of a pair of tech 8 Boots, My Chest protector Started to Die the first day I wore it, The neck brace is fine as long as you dont Open it. Its fine if you just put it over your head. However the protection factor is not effected by any of this and its all light and well designed.

Any of these work with rr leathers with a hump?

Close your eyes, look deep in your soul, step outside yourself and let your mind go.
They make a RR-specific version... no idea about humpability, though, but it says it's compatible.

After careful review, I just bought an Atlas "2014 original" model brace. This will be for dirty-bike use. I'm still strongly considering a brace for road-race/track use. The Leatt STX Road is still sounding like the brace for me for that application. But the Atlas was less than half the price and reviewed as better than the Leatt dirt offerings. Hopefully those reviews pointed me in the reasonably right direction.
I got a new one I don't want.
The atlas isn't even that expensive compared to the Leatt and EVS and the like.
Y'all lost out , I bought an EVS from mgbiggy for cheap $ it was on here for months. For the average tree kisser it should be awesome.
I looked at that EVS of biggys about eleventy billion times. Seemed like an older design and not quite what I was looking for. This deal wasn't strictly about the money for me. I was pointing out the cost of the Atlas from a value point of view compared to the Leatt and Omega and the like. Him mentioning that he'd sold his to you was part of my impetus to get off my ass and buy something. Hopefully I made a reasonably good decision.
