Froggy's Moto Tours - Arkansas Dual Sport Adventures ?
Tell Cory I said hello if yes.
Heard that’s a great place to launder money.
Good crew. Enjoy yourselves.
Shawn and Lea had talked about going there while we were at boot camp that's why I thought they might be going.

You riding XR400's down there?
Seems like no matter what, it's more fun to ride new places on a low tech bike than it is to stick to regular again and again places on your own high tech bike. It's the experience that makes it, not the equipment.
Makes me reconsider shopping for a high dollar dual sport and just get anything cheap with a plate that's reliable.

People put too much focus on the gear and the difficulty of terrain. This was more of an "On Any Sunday" type of ride. A bunch of friends, simple bikes, simple terrain, beautiful places, and a LOT of goofing off on 2 wheels. 3 headlights were completely smashed from roost. My nose got split by a high speed whipper. We broke more than a few rules along the way.
We saw Elk, Bald Eagles, Pilteated woodpeckers, and loads of hawks and other birds.
Cory West was a great guide and host. He knew the roads/trails so well out there that we never stopped at intersections or paused to figure out where we were going, even at full on rally speeds. On the other hand, he had never run a tour at these speeds before. He was clearly having fun too. That made it a pretty great time.
That said, the XR 250/400 platform was a lot more exciting to ride than the DR. I think a plated XR is still tough to beat for a dual sport bike. Hammer reliability, good motor, decent legs on the paved sections. 400 is better for wheelies and roost. But the 250 has the 6 speed. Advantages to both.
