Play Hookey June 19th

Got the day off Thursday and I'm headed up to Crow Hill for the day with Justin. This track is super rideable and fun on any dirtbike. no gaps or anything intimidating. Just a great fast, flowing layout.

I just messaged my buddy about this as I went saturday...there is like 1 jump now! I kinda don't like it, but as you say its a great place to just put in practice laps and hammer away.

Damn, only one jump? They used to have at least 4-5. That's kind of a bummer.

that might have been pushing it saying there is only 1, there are probably still 4-ish humps that you "jump" but really felt like there is one or two real jumps you get any kind of actual 'air' on haha.

Mmm, yeah, OK. That sounds about right. It's not a jumper's dream that's for sure. It does make it accesible to woods guys though.

They open for biz at 1pm. I'm planning to get there between right around 1. It should be open track for a few hours before they break into groups. I'm generally good for 4-5 sessions at 15-20 min. Probably be done by 4:30.

hahaha. already thinking its the 19th. thats about how my entire week has gone, maybe its best im not on two wheels.

tomorrow would be worse however as i am on vacation next week which means i have to make sure i wrap things up here.

i'll get out with everyone at some point this summer. finish siding my house next week, then i might be able to resume the dirty bike search again.

Paul, btw, my bog from our last CH session was simply a dirty filter. glad it was minor but the filter wasn't THAT dirty really. guess i gotta keep that thing spotless. picked up a spare to have one ready in the waiting.

My YZ still has fuel in it from that time we were at Beartown. I just dumped what I had in left in the can in the truck last week. I'm thinking I'll dump the YZ tank's contents in there as well at the next fill-up.

I put a new piston in tonight and noticed I need a chain and sprockets, so I'll get that in the AM. Chris, Ridin the YZ at the track will be the bomb. That's what it was born to do.
