The complete "loop" uses public roads as trail connectors, you may even have to travel a mile or so down the road. Pachaug is not one big solid block of state land, there's lots of town roads and peoples houses all mixxed in. When this "loop" was created, part of the deal to allow motorcycles was that they must be street legal in order to use the trails. For this area, it's a good thing because the trail system there probably could not handle the traffic of ORV use.Originally posted by knobby
