You'll have to attach it to the Swingarm, which if it's a stock one, the upper and lower guides should be two pieces and then the guard itself goes around them. If not, harbor freight sells a chain breaker for 520 chains that will work for your KTM, and it cost like $12.

Sorry if I wasn't making myself clear. I was referring to the chain guide on the back by the rear sprocket. Pic is from a 03 300EXC, I thinks that what you have, right?



Parts # 66, plastic guide that goes over/under chain, and part #68 which is the cage that goes around the plastic guide to give it support/protection. Sorry, if I got it wrong.

ya, thats the part. that block (#66) is one peice with a hole through it. so you have to take apart the chain and run it through it. the wife has informed me that there is a clip style master link on it, so as long as i dont fuck up the clip or lose it, i should be OK

I got my sticker today. I think the bike is 100%. Half the gear arrived. Stuff fits, although I have no idea if it is any good.

I run a pair of tall socks under my boots, long underwear under my pants, thermal long sleeve under my jersey, and my mountain biking gloves versus my moto gloves.

A solid hoody and a hat while shooting the shit in the parking lot.

I'm planning on the thermals under everything. I'd much rather sweat than freeze.

I'll be a mis-matched shit-show for gear. Some brand new real dirt gear, some street stuff, 'cause it's what I have.
