The forecast I'm looking at says it's going to start raining in the afternoon. At that point I figure my lack of skill will keep my heart rate up long enough to stay warm until everyone else is cold, miserable and calls it a day.

Re: Pre-banquet dirty ride Nov 1st

The forecast I saw had a 40% chance for most of the day. That means there is a 60% chance it won't do anything. Better than the odds in a casino and lots of people gamble......

Peter, I can get you and bike back to the hotel if you still want to join us.

Bubba, best thing to do is wear a wicking layer under your riding gear and if you have some type of wind proof jacket that you don't mind getting dirty wear it over your gear. Trick for the hands is wear rubber gloves under your riding gloves as they will keep your hands dry. Layers sort of like going skiing work well.

What's the schedule? When and where are we meeting? How long are we riding for? Any question I forgot to ask? Do I ask too many questions?

Ride until you get tired. Or feel like doing something else.

    Do you want to car-pool?

You are going to ride in and ride out? You are an animal!!
I know, I know, tell NESR something it didn't already know.

You should be advised that I have been advised that that is a bad idea.

(So no. I meant to you want to either meet at my place or at the park and ride near the circle and trailer over together.)

No real schedule other than meeting time.

Parking lot off of Ray Rd in Dunbarton NH at 9:00 AM

Ride as long as you want or as short as you want.

Probably a lot of questions you forgot to ask.

    Not yet.

As Bubs mentioned may not be the best idea to ride there and back. On the off chance you have a tip over/flat tire that makes your bike unrideable how do you get home/to the hotel in time to be ready for the banquet?

Re: Pre-banquet dirty ride Nov 1st

One other little thing that may or may not be a problem depending on who has air tanks or compressors. Typically riding in the woods tire pressures are set to between 8 and 15 PSI depending on tire choice. Not sure what your road riding pressures are at but if you drop them for the woods having a plan to air them back up for the ride home is a good idea.

I'll pack my tire pump. Should be more than enough to inflate.

You just want to make sure you can fit in those jeans again if required.
