Just so we know, from now on I'm calling that big pine as you turn the corner there on Sugar Hill loop "Isaac's tree". Hope that works for everyone.

Just so we know, from now on I'm calling Isaac's bike the BBC, because it was big and stiff and he went down on it eagerly.

I have no clue, still, how Isaac got his bike stuck between that tree and that rock.

I had a blast. I am absolutely SPENT from this weekend though. I'll be back for more.

Are those the trails that are ATV only; no 2-wheelers allowed?

Claremont is not near me. But equidistant for some of you and it seems fair to share that particular pain. Although I do love me some Hop-Ev.

Someday I need to ride Jericho.

Re: Isaac's tree. I feel obliged to remind folks that my first time out I endo'ed the DRZ down a rocky hill, inches from taking Oxx with me, between two massive pines into the netherlands all because I wasn't paying attention. There was an easier way 2' to my left.

    So, you know.

Haha, thanks for trying to lessen my embarrassment?

... Truth is I'm not embarrassed. It's like everything else that requires practice. Just have to get out there and practice some more!

All that is needed now is a date, a time and directions to the parking spot to access these trails of which you speak. Once those things are in place we might have a group (or even a couple of people) to go ride there with.

I'd love to see a trail map but don't feel like waiting for snail mail to get one from the club. I wish more clubs would sell you a .pdf that they email to you. It's not like someone can't buy the map, scan it and distribute it if the club is trying to prevent people just sharing it with their friends.

Yeah, that was fun! Stupidest crash ever, and that water was cold.

I had a blast riding with you guys, every year it is always an adventure. I was disappoint that more of the crew didn't show up but not surprising, talk is cheap on the interwebs

Carsick, I supplied your beer. Isaac now has an official landmark. Trouble was the first official crasher (didn't make it out of the parking lot). Fenderless Cole is as crazy on the dirt as on the asphalt. And everyone that showed won!

Thanks to all who showed, see ya next year!!

i agree with that. i contacted the new durham club, that allegedly has 50+ miles of trails, about a map. they told me that they dont have one.
im sorry, did you say that youve been maintaining these trails since 2003 and you dont have even the most rudimentary of maps? sign me up for that club.
