Who's doing this? Is there a class for old slow guys? I had a blast doing the toys for tots there but it beat the shit outta me. I might be better equipped now as opposed to then but still not a competitive guy.

Or you can run sportsman and just do the ride without being in the championship points.
I'm supposed to work, but I think I'm going to take it off.

I think if I run Sportsman then I only need an AMA membership, which I have. To be in the points I need to join the club, me thinks. Not that I am opposed to that, just cheap

From what I could dig up they say AMA membership only for this event. I am very tempted to give it a rip. Is the course similar to that toy run last year? I'll try and drag down KB or Joel down.

It's at the same place, so yeah, very similar. Joel was hinting around he may go. Tell kb to strap on a trials tire.

If you all come down I won't be able to skip it. I'll have to come out and lap at least one of you.

I swapped the trials tire out it sucks balls in the mud. It made me fall and go boom and break a rib, so I sent it down the road. I have 2 bikes to put together this weekend and the ama and club membership plus the entry fee and gas and food is way over budget for this guy. I will however be down to clown for the dirt classic at loudon. And once race season starts I am riding every chance I can get in the dirt.

I concur, it's kind of alot for one race, but still less than one weekend of lrrs. Maybe if you spent all that $ you'd guilt yourself into doing more.

I got 3rd, from last, due to eating it in the sand at the start. That's a big win for me.
The white flag was out on lap 3, so I rode like a jackrabbit on crack for the fourth lap, it felt great. Today was one of those days where everything clicked. Swansea for round 5?
