What a weekend, don't ever invite me again. The company was too fun to be around the riding was too good and there was too much fun all around. Totally sucked.

Bob was our motivator this weekend, I don't think we've ever left my place before noon to go riding... we were on the bikes by 8:30am this morning

I also don't think we did 220 miles of dirt riding in a weekend before either. I'm gonna be sore tomorrow.

We did close to 100 miles today i think? Nice ride to lunch on Moosehead Lake

Feels good to be home though, nice hot shower, discovered some udi's, and I even unloaded some of my stuff. I got to hurry and clean the KTM and bring it in for a valve adjustment.

I'm sore as hell already, I'm sure tomorrow will be a slow day for me... Riding that quad for 50 miles today kicked my ass, I forgot how much work it is to ride it

Its been a rough day for me as well. I was away from the dirt bike for almost 2 months then do 220 miles on it in a weekend man I am really out of shape.

That invite goes for anyone that doesn't mind long days of dirt riding ( the potential is there to ride well over 100 miles of all dirt per day), lots of late night drinking, camping out without any facilities, don't mind using a outhouse, and bring a tent Street plates preferred but we can easily work around that if need be... Maine ATV sticker is a must if no streetplate.. $69
There is limited parking as well as all I have is a narrow driveway with a small turnaround.


I spent all afternoon today cleaning 3 days worth of mud off the bikes and half of my riding gear... and I still have to clean my riding pants and jersey outside before I can put them in the washer I don't think I've ever gotten this dirty getting dirty before.
I was junk all day at work today as well Sean, sore as hell and all that was on my mind was how much fun we had. That little circle track Todd and I were messing around on yesterday was the highlight of that day anyways... I think that kicked my ass the most and it's a good thing we ran it backwards for the last few laps to unwind the dizzyness

I'll work on getting what few pictures I took posted up

I just got done cleaning the bikes, mine smelled like shit I think those mud holes we went through had moose shit in them or something, man did it stink.
ofcourse it dried on the bikes and became dust in the trailer so I had to sweep all that out too.

Funny, I was just talking to leah about labor day.

Oh and incase anyone is wondering, the dirt helmet while playing cards is when you become asshole in the game you wear your helmet as long as you are the asshole.

It's funny, I don't notice the smell at all after 10 beers
The fork game was fun to.... but I always lost that one as well, that could be why i got extra drunk that night

My sleeping spot for the weekend. The first time sence I built my little camp that I have ever slept in the loft.... and it will be the last time.. haha Those stairs are a bitch when you're drunk. Even worse when there's no lights and you trip over a fifty and wake the poor guy up sleeping on the first floor... sorry bout that Bob



The Punchbowl trail At first Bob said any trail I could ride down, he'd ride down. Little had he known that I done improved my riding a little bit sence last time I rode with him. I wish I got more pictures of this trail, it was a lot of fun and A LOT of work in the first section.



Kingsbury Dam on rt 16 that was part of the interconnect trail system (ITS). Lots of people riding quads and there was even a food vendor there. At one point there were even people swimming in the water.





The result of some mini riding at the end of the day, I was tearing trees from the ground with this thing



Have you ever seen such a dirty KTM... though it is a sign of a good time... I almost hated to wash that mud off today



Even our little fires seem to overflow from the fire pit... has to have something to do with the beers



I can't even say again how much fun this weekend was and with such great company.
And another huge thanks to Sean and Leah for that awesome meel cooked over the fire

All I can say is wow, that was a fun weekend. I couldn't ask for better company than you guys and gals. That was some of the best dirt riding I have ever seen Then the drinking at night

Mark you have come a long way from where you where last year.

Leah, I could not believe how well you where riding when I was behind you, you are not far off the pace of Sean and Mark, in the water you could go right past mark for sure

Sean, i believe from now on your the offical cook, what good food for a last minute and cooking over the open fire. Good job backing up that trailer.

The rules that I can think of when I'm not drunk, I going to write them down for next time we play asshole. Like the asshole doesn't get to take a shower and the president gets 2.

Hey!!! That was just in a effort to stay somewhat clean... of course I tossed all that hard work out the window after the first puddle when I was on the quad!! Quads suck

And if you make that type of shower rule, looks like I'm going to toss by wash stuff in my backpack and make a pitstop at Harlow Pond on the way back

believe it or not these were clean before the 3days in maine. But afterwards they look as dirty as leah's face was after the 3rd day.

I took a quick look at my air filter and it wasn't all that bad, though it wasn't exposed to the dust this time

I got my bike back from the first valve adjustment on Thursday, the dealer says they were way out of spec and loose. Runs much quieter and smoother now
