Had the epic idea of unloading the 300 in newmarket and start heading down the rec. rail trail. Got to candia-ish and hung a right on snowmobile trail 15n. That took me up through bear brook. Refueled on the other side of that and continued on. Made it to Pembroke rd when I made it to gate that wasnt the typical orange pole that you see. This made me think the trail went onto private property. While I sat there for a sec and contemplated my options some lady rolled up and started bitching at me that I better not go down there, snowmobiles only yada yada yada. She left and I went back the way I came. Fairly easy riding but i was pretty sore all over when I got home. Just crossed my fingers all day that I didnt run into the fish police. No idea how many miles I did but it was fun. Cant wait til im 100% so I can get back out to clough.

Bear brook is off limits to dirt bikes unless there's snow on the ground. Be careful if you get bagged you're looking at a hefty fine. Go buy yourself a Gazetter map of nh. It has all the class VI roads in it. That is a legal way to have a ton of fun.

The section of the Rockingham Recreational Rail Trail you were on is also off limits to wheeled OHRVs year round. The only legal part of it is the Freemont-Derry line. Pretty much all the snowmobile trails are off limits too.

There are a good number of class VI roads around the Bear Brook area. Not quite as fun as the trails you were on but no risk of a ticket for riding where you shouldn't be.

I'm a complete pussy about riding where not allowed. I blame my parents. To this day my father has an irrational, intense hatred for snow machines and ATVs.

Lots of Class VI's in Barrington, Epping, Northwood.. etc. Even more up 'round Barnstead.

Im fully aware that I had no business being on those trails. Saw lots of people out hiking and biking. Only 1 guy shook his head at me. I slowed to walking pace everytime I came upon someone.
KB, where do I pick up one of those gazetters?

You can find Gazetters at a book store, or EMS.

Many of the Irving gas stations have them near their news papers.
