    Riding in/around Hanover, NH

Anyone know of dirt riding possibilities in that area? I know of Everett/Hopkinton trails but that's more than an hour's drive. Jolly Roger, err, NHMX is about an hour too. Both are doable but if someone knows of something closer, I'd be much obliged.

MX101 is in Epping, just over an hour, and Winchester is a little bit farther still.

Looks like I'll be spending a lot of weekends up in Hanover come summer...

Thanks! That's really helpful. Have you ever ridden at Mt. Moosilauke, Sullivan County or Sugar River?

I've ridden Sullivan. Not quite what we had hoped. Although I think we only saw part of the area. And really, riding is riding.

Bound Tree / Contoocook from that map has my interest. I didn't know that existed...

I believe that there is an MX track or two in Canaan NH and there is also the Rockpile MX track in Warren NH. Rockpile is a fun place to ride and the owner is a good dude.

I've never ridden dirt. I've been in the same search as yourself the last week, as I just picked up a 2009 plated CRF 250x (first dirt bike). Super stoked to get out in the woods! I live 15 minutes from Clough. Gonna start on some of the double track and eventually try to not kill myself in the single track.

Have you ridden HVD at Oxford -- how does it compare to Sullivan?

Hmm, haven't heard of tracks out there. Will look into it!

Congrats on the new pickup! Are you looking to stick to trails or are you interested in trying MX as well?

    No. But I want to.

If you ever do MX101, let me know. I'm close enough to hear the drag cars when the nationals come to town.
