Ya the fumes are the worst part. By the end of the day it feels like youve been sucking on a exhaust pipe.

I don't blame ya for asking that however,

Could you imagine the associate cost with heating the place?

If they are asking people to fill out surveys then chances are they barely made any $$ last year WITHOUT HEAT.

went to indoor kart track in Portland. They tried to keep it heated to about 50 degrees but as soon as the karts started up they had to turn on the ventilation and it would suck all the heat out in about 3 minutes. About all it amounted to was keeping the track surface from getting too cold which is not an issue for MX.

If they had a 55 gallon type wood stove, riders could bring their own wood. It wouldn't heat the whole building, but you might get 12-15 degrees warmer than outside.
The fire code would probably require that the wood stove be enclosed by chain link fence to protect the "public" (people who refuse to watch their kids).

Thumpertalk has a post going that says it is supposed to open for business the weekend of Dec 11. I don't know that for fact, just what I read on another board.

Davo sent an email about it today, he didn't confirm it was opening so it's still a rumor at the moment afaik. If they open, I'll do my damndest to be there if someon else will bring a stretcher and agree to make sure I make it back home afterwards. : )
