I guess I'll just chat with myself since no one here ever shows up! Today was the knarliest track conditions I've ever ridden. It rained heavy last night, and the clay was super saturated at Rocky Hill. It firmed up by like 1:00, but the ruts were unreal. One of them was seat deep!
They added this uber steep whoop section. I'm not sure how you're supposed to even ride it in the dry as you can't really top them, and you can't rythym them. Anyway, in the mud they were just eating people alive. I did a massive flying W while trying to double into them. Face on the bar clamp, legs in the air... Woot!
Other than that, I did OK and learned a lot. This sport is so addictive. It's liek doing a trackday every week!
I can guarantee you ill be there next season...
my health has been too inconsistent this year.
I did a local ride today if your interested next time let me know....
btw its not a track its just an open pit with some decent trails...
just figured id put that out there.
i just picked up a KTM 400 LC4 for commuting on but i got a set of DOT knobbies, i needa find a place around here i can ride.

I've never been on an MX track actually so ill probably stick to woods even thou its a bit on heavy side for it. Id like to try it on a track once i get used to it offroad a bit.
