Short Course This Sunday

The second one will be held at Clarkie's Farm This Sunday November 28th.

For those of you who have never entered one of these events they consist of a 1-1/2 to 2 mile course (half grass track,half woods). Each class races in two 40 minute heats and your finishes in both heats are combined to determine awards. There are 16 classes with 3 trophy's in each. Heat #1 is Mini's,Big Wheel, and Women. Heat #2 is C-Light 0-249cc, C-Heavy 250cc and up C-Vet ages 30-39, and C-Senior 40 yrs old and up. Heat #3 will have the same classes for B's. Heat #4 will be AA riders and the same four classes for A's. We plan on having 4 of these events between now and the Spring.

Entry Fee is $20 for Heat #1 (Kids and Women)
$30 for everyone else
You may enter and additional class for $15

Also to race you will need to be a member of Pilgrim Sands for insurance purposes. Membership Fee is $20 for individual or Families and is good for 1 year.

Sign-up starts at 7am

First Heat starts at 8:30 am

The Minis run in a different heat. It too dangerous to have full size bikes and minis out at the same time. The minis roost by the squids and we all die laughing.

About as soon as we're done. Usually late afternoon.

I was hoping to do one of these events, but the wife's shutting me down for the season. Also my bike is pretty hammered, it needs a little TLC.

She's been there,done that. Plus I'm looking to head south in March to a GNCC and enduro,and come back ride full season of hare scrambles before I get bumped up a class.
