I rode last night at my local track which has quite a few soft sand corners and the track does not has an irrigation systems, so they were really soft. 1 out of 5 times through a corner it felt right but I couldn't figure out what I was doing right to make it work. Just dumb luck as far as I can tell. I am looking for some advice on this since there is no rain in the future and I should have the same conditions on Thursday when I go back.
Body Position- Should I be up right like you would be it a flat corner or should I be leaned in committed to the turn?
- Should I be sitting on the tank, just behind the tank or more over the rear tire?
Bar Input- Initial input then stay loose or do you need more input though out the turn to keep the front where it needs to be?
Throttle- Pick up the throttle early in the corner to drive though or later to let the front end get pointed where you want it before finishing the turn with the throttle.
