Im not 100% sure, but try service honda. they are always pulling out 250f and 450f motors and putting 500cc 2-strokes in the chasis's. I know they put the 500 in the crf250 frame, so im not sure about their supply of crf450 motors. and they also make kx500s, i think out of kfx450s, so you could get a KFX450 motor i think. there is also another company like them out of ohio that puts cr500 motors in crf450 frames. i bet you could get a crf450 motor from them if you'd like. and there is a 3rd company that does what service honda does to. search around, but i'd start with service honda.

if not, you might have to do what service honda does in order to get their cr500 motors. buy every single piece and put it together.

Yamaha 660 used in the Raptor and the MZ Scorpion. Not for 2 wheeled dirt duty though.

    I'm not building a kart...

I'm indeed looking for something to power a 2-wheeled vehicle, obviously something that doesn't currently have a working motor.

I have limited funds for this, hoping to find a "toogoodtobetrue" deal on motor, something in the 400-500 price range.

    would that be feasible.
