Only way i roll. Alot of guys swear by the plastic guards that they bounce off trees better but i am not going that fast that I care about bouncing off a tree really. I would rather not break a clutch or brake lever.

I think of plastic as more of a roost deflection than hand and lever protection. Once a rider gets his/her fingers pinched between a lever and a handgrip because you brush by a tree a little close , they will learn what guards are best for woods.

They're getting there, still some standing/flowing water in the low spots. Should be good to get in a few laps soon

Re: Spring is just around the corner...

between Friday night and this afternoon, I have all my crash protection installed.

The hand guards I'm happy with but they are rubbing the front number plate a little. Once the bar risers come in, they should clear no problems.

Carbon pipe guard. I'm impressed with the fit and how tight it is to the pipe. I did find that as you tighten the clamps, if I hit the center of the guard with my palm, it kept getting tighter.

Engine skid. The plastic plugs in the frame were a pain to get out, and I never liked the C-clamp type mount on the front of the KTM skid plates. The good thing is, I don't have to take it off to change the oil
I didn't feel like laying on the ground to take a picture, so this is what you get..ahah
