Hey guys, I KNOW alot of you signed up. Lets try to set up a tent city together in the pits. Typeone, Justinmass, and myself will be setting up a couple EZups tonight. I think we'll head into the back lot and try to reserve a big spot.

Who else is setting up tonight? How many EZups do we have?

Count me in, I'll be down there with an ezup and my trailer tonight... probably get there around 8pm

I'll be showing up tomorrow morning when the gates open. Save me a spot. I'm not brining an EZ-up but Mike and Tim are showing up a bit later to spectate and I think Mike is brining an EZ- up in case we need an extra.

Paul, let us know what spot your thinking of, unless Justin knows. i've only been to southwick to watch the nationals and dont have a clear image of the pit area

I guess just pick a spot. Maybe we can use something to rope off a wide space between 2 vehicles.

btw, Justin drives a brown/gold Honda CRV and has a blue Yammie YZ250.

If I get my bike back together before 6pm, It'll be there. KTM #728 (orange)

We'll figure out a good location. I think the primary pit area is going to be bombed. I'm thinking further back (there's a little hill - up over the hill) so that we're not inundated with 4 strokers popping their motors every chance they get, as they motor out to the track.
If we can tuck into some sort of corner, where we can access the track somewhat easily, that'd be great

6 Fingered Man & I will be there tonight. No tent or EZ-up though, we'll be crashing in the bike trailer. Gray Nissan Frontier 4 door. I'll be on a KX125 w/ black shrouds/tank/fenders & white # plates. He'll prob be on a red/white CR250, if not a blue/yellow YZ250. He should have both bikes. We'll try to find you guys.

i'll be headed up early morning as well, planning to arrive shortly after 6. give me a buzz if you want. worst case, if there isn't room with the group, we can at least get in the same area.

Is this thing really going to happen? I cannot IMAGINE what the track looks like. Last weekend it was in horrible condition - it has to be 2x as bad.
You stray from the packed/rutted line and I don't think you're going home.
Rain is getting to me..

I think it is a little different from last weekend. That was a DELUGE and it didn't give the ground any chance to absorb the water. I think it will be MUUCH better this weekend. It's been coming down much slower. The sand is easier to ride when its wet.

i keep wondering the same thing but Dave is zapping updates via Twitter saying... "The sun is out bitches - its time to get your Stimilon!" and "@ southwick. sun n clouds. stoked"
