Well, you remember my WR right? It was a 265 when you saw it last. Still is, only now it's running correctly with a working carb and power valve. :D

not enough info...let's just say after buying/selling half a dozen bikes in the last year, I only really know what a bike is like if I rode it
I just vaguely remember watching you from afar at stimilon like 4 (or 5?) years ago...and even if I went by that, it didn't look much different from what I can do now on a stock motor :spit:
not that it would change my mind - but you got any recent vids rippin on dirt since you got the dead was brung out?
No, but I do have a dyno I'm not sharing. Nor am I skeered of 450s... :D

Yeah, so... not a great sales technique here... I still don't 'rip' on dirt yet. :P
that was awesome!!!
I wanna ride it!!!!
That sand looked sooooooo slick.
I have photos and some absurdly high def video. Need to paw through it at some point.
There was NO traction in that dirt, and despite a ton of rocks being removed prior to the event more were working their way to the surface so you'd be pushing one moment and bouncing in the opposite direction the next. Fun! Once it gets rained on a few times it'll pack down and be much better I suspect.
Nice pics! You're pretty damn good with the camera!
So Josh, what's this I hear about a highside? You OK?
Colin, guessing you were there Sat and not Sun, the opposite of me.
I was there for the "mains" on Saturday. I'm only as good with a camera as any monkey. The camera and photoshop lightroom does the real work. I figure I'm standing there, I own the camera, might as well.
Little bit of do want right here.

I did a lawn dart impersonation at the end of the day Saturday after forgetting everything I learned on Friday while getting overly aggressive. I'm upright and walking but hating life at the moment.
Pavement, far back left hander after the start finish straight and slight right.
Just stumbled across this:
95 husqvarna wxc 250 !!street legal!!
I gotta say, the moto community (particularly dirt/moto) is my FAVORITE community on the planet!
I'm telling ALL my customers @ work about LAB2V...one actually rode it
he's got a box of dirt stuff he'd like to give to me for free, since he's finally hanging up his dirt boots...too much risk for another injury...ready to retire
I offered him money, he said he wouldn't ever take it...
this was inside
http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...psvddztcpu.jpg
he said he had 3, I'd could use it for LAB2V, and it would go to good use...checked amazon...it's like $400 :whoa:
The dirt/moto community is AWESOME :hellyeah:
cylinder is with Millennium with an OEM piston getting replated
since I'll have the bike awhile - I setup some auto searches for used cylinders/crankcases/crankshafts - good to have on hand for future rebuilds
I'm off thanksgiving w' no family out here, so I might head to Vegas wednesday night and offer to drive back bikes to LA so people can leave their trucks in Vegas for LAB2V
man I can't wait
I wonder if strip clubs have helmet storage :spit:
edit 2: just paid the $195 to ride both days...then immediately got an email from the organizers asking:
little does he know me...Quote:

safe for work!
so uh...usually I bargain shop for $30 graphics from ebay
since I bought the 450F for only $1,000...I decided to just pony up and pay for getting graphics cut

WOW
I was planning on selling it; now I want to keep it!
As soon as the YZ250 comes back, I'm getting graphics cut for that too!!!
mechanic said he mailed the cylinder to Millennium awhile ago (bike dropped off August 1st)...called Millennium and they said it's an 8-10 day turn around :dunno:
otherwise crank rebuilt, and shouldn't take more than a day or 2 to reassemble after cylinder is back in his hands...dunno if I have time to service/valve/spring the shock before LAB2V
getting withdrawals :coward:

needed some sort of dirt practice...
NOTE: hand guard/bark busters do more than protect your levers/hands...
was riding down a narrow single track, wheel fell into a rut, throttle side drags against the wall and somehow pins the throttle...the 450 began to roar and I thought I was dead
smashed my hand (which btw, mx gloves are such junk!), few bumps and bruises...more sore than anything...can't wait to go out again!

That's not a 2-stroke.
There is also no single track pictured here.
Also not street legal, even Kaliphornia.
