    What is the best way to stud a spare set of tires?

    I hear rumors of a winter race at Hemonds....

    Some sort of screw in stud situation?

    I’m not sure what Hemonds is, but if it’s a woods race, I’m almost certain that no screw in studs are allowed. There’s a guy in RI that makes them, or you can buy specific tires already made… trelleborg are a popular brand

    Mike Costa on Facebook makes studded tires. Not sure but Bill Rowe might as well.

    Couple of guys I know are looking into doing it themselves. Buying the studs, drilling the knobs and inserting the studs with some super glue I believe is the process. Tires used makes a difference. There is some info out there in google world. Search for friction stud installation.
