Ride at a place that's fun and I don't need to mention, AKA Waterworld. No reg needed, mostly private land. I've been riding there for years in various forms and never had an issue.

TONS of varied terrain. Huge gravel pits, dunes, sand pits, fire roads, mud, water, etc. Lots of large open areas just to fool around in and play. Ask Oreo, I just took him there yesterday and we had a BLAST!

Oreo was telling me about the ride this weekend... I was planning to hit "The Worm Farm" track in CT, but I'll join you guys if you don't mind one more?

This is a "your own responsibility" ride (as all should be). I have never been hassled in the 10+ years I've gone to this spot. It is frequented by other bikes as well. If you have a reg, awesome. If not, please be aware that you are riding at your own risk. There is some private property near where we will be riding which is off-limits. I will explain the boundries before the ride and we'll probably split up into two groups since it looks like we'll have a few people.

Also, the road to access the trails is rough. A BMW would not make it down it. Small 2wd pickups are fine as are any other suv/trucks. Just need a little clearance to get in.

i dont know the first thing about mass reg... whats the penalty if you get caught? what does it take to get reg'd?

i got a ticket in NH once recently (no ohrv reg)... 200 or so clams... i dont want to make that mistake again.

I think you need a bill of sale and proof of sale sales tax paid. Then you need to pay the fee and get the sticker.

I'd recommend getting one. Looks like you have to visit one of the five offices in MA to get one. Worcester is the closest for me. I may have to get down there this week unless the MCO suddenly appears to the previous owner.

Out of state people = proof of reg in your home state OR proof of sales tax paid + $30 for the year

I'm pretty sure I rode this spot last Thursday with Jeff Wood. It's private land and the EPO coppers can't come on it (methinks). Bunch of "NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES" signs around, which I was informed is for liability if some shithead hurts himself and tries to sue.

Fun place, like motowoods. No rocks really. Whoops all over, berms, etc etc. Well, would have been more fun if I didn't spend my first time riding woods chasing Wood around... that fucker doesn't go slow, ever.

Won't see me. I'm in Vegas for a 'work' gig this weekend. On Sunday I'll be at the MLGPRO.com Finals, probably nursing a severe hangover after a night of tits in my face, new tattoos, and booze.

Alex, I think you were about a mile north of where we are riding off North Ashburnham road. I've been 4-wheelin by there, never been up the trails on the bike.

Get on it! I'm sure Mr.Wood would like a couple of cases of beer to bring a happy local/fellow racer along
