Super laid back atmosphere, I'm pretty certain there'll be a seperate loop for the kiddies, and a full spread of ability levels out riding together.

This event is closed course on private property.
TECHNICALLY mass requires stickers for that too, but we've had greenies there before and they've never busted anyone's balls.
If you DO have stickers ANDY a street reg, freetown sf is a 10min ride from the farm.

Right, but you need the Offroad reg to ride the forest, regardless.

How do I get one?

Go to Fall River. The (whatever it's called now) registry is on north main st. Same place you would register a boat.
Bring your street reg upstairs and across the hall first to the dept of revenue, and get a slip from them proving you paid sales tax (because the sticker people won't accept a street reg with the printing on it), and go back across the hall with a check for $40.

how do they run the day? totally free form just head out on the course whenever? trying to figure out timing, I'd like to make it this year.

Yeah. The course is marked. You can head out at your leisure and lap until the end of the day. I think last year we rode 4 laps total with short breaks in between.

Definitely a maybe at this point. Secured garage space to pull the struts on the car tomorrow. If that goes well, I'm in. If it doesn't, I'll be doing that on Sunday instead.

Yeah. Hoping I can have my cake and eat it too on this one. Car needs struts pretty badly. I have all the poop to do it (I hope). Can't pass up the opportunity to use heated garage space with a lift and air goodies. Hopefully that will make short work of the job. Hopefully.
