make sure its street legal and has Electric start, it opens up more terrain and doesn't wear you out getting it started .

You've got the perfect bike now
Get some new knobbies and come riding

Still getting the knobbies to keep the riding going all winter. But, with the beyond stiff suspension it makes trails a little rough. Still ride it down a bunch and when i get the knobbies back on i dont think i'll reach the ground. A smaller cc bike may not be a bad idea either.

as always, excellent ride report sean

and you certainly do a good job finding the opportunity for pictures throughout the day and getting action shots...by the time I whip out the camera, my friends are waving to me telling me to keep up. Do you leave the camera in your backpack?

sorry to hear about the plate on your wife's bike. Do you think it might've came off during a tip over? was there anything else she could've done to prevent losing it? ie. used rubber-lined lock nuts or mounting it somewhere else. I want to get a street-worthy dirty ride that can do single track, but I don't want to lose the plate.

    oof...he's swamped!

I do like how he rode through and you guys rode around

but I used to ride through it when I first started woods riding, but I'm realizing now that it's better practice to ride around to: (1) keep yourself dry and upright (2) keep from forming ruts in the soft mud

this picture looks uncomfortable...was she pinned? I always fear for falling in a puddle

    another one bites the...water?

and what are carb breather hoses? the extra 1/4" tubes directly off the carb that typically empty towards the rear wheel?

nice action pic in general with the water splashing around

keep these threads coming...I will live vicariously through you all.

Don't worry about reaching the ground, after a day at Pachaug, you'll hate touching the ground.

I just saw a good deal on a KTM 250 4-stroke with a street plate, gotta see where that was?

Looks like fun. All I can say is if my dumb ass sees water like that, I'm not even gonna try going through it.
