You guys need to get your bikes together.
Does HVD shut down this time of year at all?
it’s open year round except for mud season or controlled flooding. mud season right now, they closed trails yesterday.
hiked Wachusett today, fairly dry so i think the season will be kicking off soon!

I tried to bastardize the "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take" line. That was the best I could do :(

You very successfully bastardized the quote alright. Achieving your goal in doing so..................not so much lol

The winter riding is good fun. I can't believe it took this many decades for me to buy winter tires.... Doh. Got out and rode the snot on frozen ground today..

I sold my screwed ice tires on wheels to Kyle with the KTM, but with the purchase of the YZ I got a 19” friction spike and I already have a front spike tire with a spare rim, so if it freezes up again, I’m ready...if not, next season

Can’t wait to go riding, lets go! Maybe next Saturday at Wareham mx? Southwick has 3 Sundays of open practice in a row starting mid March, too
re: typeone's Beta build (250RR)

Guess I better get back in shape. And get a tow hitch on the new Subaru
re: typeone's Beta build (250RR)
been working on the bike from like ~9pm-2am, zero free time otherwise ... but i knocked out the following over the past week, feels good:
- forks done. super simple to work on, cap design is way better. they feel STIFF 'n FRESH :D so excited
- new banjos in place of brake switches
- billet idle screw, easy to grab
- new countershaft sprocket. Supersprox started hooking, giving ProX a try. very impressed with DID Enduro X-ring and Dirt Tricks Ironman barely any wear in comparison.
- altered Sicass start/kill switch so that i can use it on left side rather than right
... and finally finished the fucking wiring project. what a PIA. not difficult but tedious.
went from this rats nest

with nice clean, heat shrink wrapped unions + terminals. just need to add dielectric grease, plug in and ziptie it up. hope the bike fires :spit:

...
next up: all new carb hoses with drain loop

You're going to need an impressive back pack to pull that off.

re: typeone's Beta build (250RR)
What's this shit with a foot of snow coming my way now. Regular knobbies without screws or spikes on the dirt bike and I just hooked up the pressure washer and hoses for all the mud I put on the bike yesterday...Mother Nature, make up yer mind!
Good thing I didn't put the snowboard away
re: typeone's Beta build (250RR)
