Anyone wanna ride dirt today?

I don't know what these new laws are, but I feel very comfortable riding these trails that no one will bother me *knocks on wood*

Mainly the risks have gone up, fines are higher, there is now the option of having your ride impounded as well.

I got kicked out of a local riding spot. Cops were made cool. They understood we're just trying to have fun.

Gace us a warning and told us to fuck off.

The practice track you either need to trailer too, or ride down the road about a mile...

Cool, yeah, its all weather dependent, but rain never bothered me. I'll probably be heading out no matter what.

Road a TON yesterday, probably one of the best days of riding I've ever had.

Super rainy, but that made conditions awesome. When its hot out, I hate getting muddy, but when I KNOW its gonna be a sloppy ride, bring it on.

My front tire just grabbed and grabbed and grabbed, bike went wherever I pointed it, and the back was super manageable. I think the ground was just the perfect consistency with the rain. Somehow there was only one crash, which was me, but it wasn't bad at all, and I watched my friend pretty much drag knee buy manage to save it, high-side style.

Went to mx 207 today. It was literally like riding on ice the entire track, puuuure mud everywhere. Kinda fun in a way.

Should have posted you were going, I'd have popped over and said Hi. Dried up decently around my place, figured 207 wouldn't have been that muddy, sounds like I was wrong.

I've never ridden any of these legitimate MX tracks, only some practice tracks. If someone is leaving from the North Shore and heading to a noob friendly mx track, and willing to trailer my ass up (I'll share transportation expenses obviously), and show me the ropes of proper MX track etiquette, let me know.

After this week of finals, I am 100% off from work/school until I start my new job in July, and plan on riding a lot of dirt. You guys are always welcome to my trails as well.

And when I say noob friendly, I don't mean the track layout as much as the people riding. I don't want to get in anyone's way, nor do I want to get ran/laughed off of the track.

I've ridden MX207 and Hemonds MX, and as many can attest to I'm a total dirt newb. I've never had a problem at either with more experienced riders. I do my best to hold my line, which sometimes has a wider footprint than the track... and everyone politely passes me, always clean, never any drama. When I know they're behind me, I stick to one side on the straights to let'em rip by otherwise just ride your own ride and they'll work around you.

They are really all newb friendly to be honest. Only track rules you should live by is don't stop in the middle of the damn track and don't swerve around/cut infront of fast riders. Any real fast rider should be able to get around slower people without an issue unless they are unpredictable and swerving around like a drunkard
