I might swing in and say what’s up. I’d be extra interested if someone was talking about Marc Anthony’s.

    I'll probably be there.

Was there yesterday too. There was still ice over the cranberry bog, but the track itself wasn't frozen. It was wet/muddy in some spots and developed a few sketchy mud-ruts. I'd assume the sand drains fast, so hopefully it'll be close to ideal tomorrow. I think some of the water was still frozen in what they had scraped off and it pooled.

I'm still trying to recover from my 'vacation' this past month. Tomorrow my plan is to do my best impersonation of a vegetable on the couch.

Looks like NETRA will be running an event at MX207 on Jan 12th?

It was super fun. Conditions were great, weather was nice, and I'm digging the new bike.

    Definitely fun.

Not sure I like that chest mount view.

I don’t either. It only really works when sitting. It needs a few more degrees up.

    Re: Wareham - 12/28

Couldn't have had better weather for this time of year. Track was great right up till the end of day, when it started to get pretty carved out. The beginning of whoops were forming in the turns and I had a hell of a time with those.

Helmet mount might work better instead. Seated or standing, you'll still have your head tilted in the right direction.

    Re: Wareham - 12/28

The sand is real loose, so it can definitely get you tired quick. At the same time it’s great training for the off season. I’m happy it’s so close and easy.

So close to you. Kind of a hike for me, but I love that it's open all winter, weather dependent.

Nothing to it but to do it. I’m finding out that riding MX is almost trackday level fun for $40, with less stress, less gear, and way closer to home. Riding trails is fun, but there is something about being on a track that’s addicting. I wish I tried this years ago.

Absolutely. The only thing that has pushed me back to trail riding is that your risk exposure goes waaaay up the more you ride mx. Getting hurt sucks.

I’ve never been hurt riding MX, so there is that to look forward to.
