btw- Jay my bike is down the frame right now, I got my swingarm/chainadjuster parts sorted but am just waiting on new sprockets and axle blocks. Hopefully can make it out this coming weekend

Lol - the fourth pic in my post above is the same rock area from above - note the almost complete vertical nature of it.

I took close to the blue line. The hill coming up to this was steeper to the right, with a bit of a berm on the left that I rode. The picture doesn't show, but this is pretty much verticle. I don't think there'd be any kind of turning possible. Shepps lines might work if you were climbing up, and honestly, that'd be a bit challenging in dirtbike boots.

my thinking was keep it straight and use momentum from the flat before... of course i'd prob be on my head shortly after. hahaa

Heh - that was my attempt - unfortunately the whole when you hit a near vertical surface and get launched into the air thing where you're supposed to try to get all your weight over the front handlebars eluded me.

I felt like WilECoyote on an ACME rocket when something goes horribly awry.
