GAH... every time I came into the pits I would wash out my mouth. I ate so much sand. I am so effing sore everywhere today.

FUCK is it hard getting the bike out of sand. Worst was when I'd fall in the middle of the line. It's scary when those bikes are flying by you and you're trying to orient yourself, get the bike up, move it to the side so you don't get run over. But it's fun nonetheless... I want to go back again and manage to do more than 1-2 laps a session.

What were the jumps like? Are there any smaller ones to ease into it or do you just have to balls up and air it out?

You are lucky if you can go fast enough to get air at the wick!

So there's nothing super crazy. So you have to either commit to it or your going to roll awkwardly. I know that doesn't help but I don't know how to describe it.

+1 to smutty's 10 but i was prob at 8 in the rear. (no, it wasn't THAT kind of party) stiffen up your suspension too.

keep going back, it's a great track to build endurance, eats me alive every time. so good. Pauls spot is perfect practice for that place.

Thanks I love the 70s and 80s MX nostalgia. I still have that moto4. It was a limited color scheme for dealership employees. The JT stuff and hi point boots were a staple. I put a couple holes in that hall man chest protector from foot pegs.

I think I raced at cocoa in fla in 86 that was a whooped out sand track too. Maybe bigger whoops than southwick.
