    winter maintenance done (almost)

Well, I rebuit my water pump (I had like 50% water in the gearbox after mototown!), rebuilt my forks (fresh bushings and oil), and I got a new seat cover in the mail today. This was pure vanity, but it will eliminate the blue/pink thing I had going on last year!

Woosh, the seat came out nice, but it's a bitch to get it right. My wrists are smoked from stretching the vinyl...

Dűűd, you're supposed to put that shit out in the sunlight before you try to stretch it.

What'd you use for staples? I've done them with household stapler & staples, but they tended to rust after a while.

I did put it in the sun. Still a bitch. This stuff was thick! We have a T50 staple gun and I used 8mm upholstery staples. I think they're aluminum. Worked pretty well.

    Talking winter maintenance done (almost)

Would that have been one of the pink & blue Tiger stripe covers from the early '90s? Dude, I have some Ron Lechien dalmation pattern JT gear that would look gnarly (or is it bitchen?) with that.

Lol! Not Tiger striped, but those are the colors. We need a photo of that gear...
