A few of us are going up to my place in Parkman Maine for the long weekend for some dirtriding and I wanted to see if anyone else would be interested in going? I know it's a race weekend but i'm skipping that one![]()
We are planning on driving up Thursday night and staying until late Monday afternoon. I have a small building but the spots are spoken for so if you want to go, you'll need to bring a tent![]()
There's no power (i may bring a generator) or running water but we usually go to my aunts that lives close by to shower and stuff. There is a outhouse so doing the numbers isn't a problem.
We drink a lot of beer and stay up late playing card games and whatnot every night so be prepaired for that![]()
As for the bike requirements, obviously something in good working condition that's not going to leave YOU stranded out in the middle of know where. A Maine ATV sticker is a must, a street legal registration will do and is preferred. If everyone has street legal bikes, we can ride rite from my driveway, if not we will have to load the bikes and drive for 15 minutes.
I know some have shown intrest in the past and this could be the last trip to my place this season so here's your chance![]()

A little over 2 weeks away![]()
Weather conditions may put a damper on our night time/cooking firesIt's been very dry and I can't take a chance of a forest fire so I'll dig out the Yamaha generator and make sure it's good to go

It doesn't seem as though I have to worry too much about giving up the loft. But If anyone is really intersted I have no problem sleeping under the truck cap for the weekend.

Oh and no worries for cooking, I have the small grill and 2 burner stove. Granted open fire is cooler but we'll manage.

There's some rain in the forcast but it looks like it will be gone by Friday and the weekend looks perfect.
The good news is the rain will make a campfire much more safer..the bad news is it's gonna be wet and muddy in the woodsJust 3 more short workdays and we're gone
