I always wave to you when I arrive. I saw a cute guy on a black Gladius and had to talk fo him. He married then I went back to the flagpole and everyone was gone. figured they went to see you. Then this Russian guy started talking to me about my explorer.. lol

Good turnout, well worth the trip. I brought the KZ1000 this time as it hadn't been out and about in a while, nice to ride something a little less ferocious than the ZZR.

Seems my co-worker had a helmet and some gloves liberated off his bike last night. For whatever reason he parked on the street lat night. He locked the helmets and other gear to the bike, but someone seemingly broke the lock and swiped the helmet. Definitely a drag.

I think I'll be using a ski lock for my gear from now on. Add all my gear up and it's probably just under my deductible. Although I definitely appreciate parking on the field with people I know (and who know me and my bike).

in 15 years there has never been anything stolen from the field. EVER. Park 1/2 mile away on the streets and it's your own fault. He came looking for a helmet to ride home. We don't carry spare helmets in the trailer. I really have no sympathy. Call me an ass if you want.

99.9% of people there respect each others stuff. 1/2 mile down the road on either side and fuggetaboutit there were cars broken into earlier in the year. We can't control the whole area, but yes nothing has been reported stolen in the 15 years we've been doing this.
