Re: If you need a reason to good to bike night.. here are some:
Everyone usually meets around the flag pole and parts over there. Its perfect if you are a meticulous cleaner and your bikes spotless... and it happens to be burn out box night. Personally thats not a problem for me because my stuffs always filthy anyhow haha

I am trying to start a bike night up here in VT. What kind of area is this? A park? A Parking lot?
Re: If you need a reason to good to bike night.. here are some:
perfect doc! Buy steves video and you can see everything! :) Its a river walk area with a band stand in the middle of a moderately sized grass lot across from an ice cream stand
Re: If you need a reason to good to bike night.. here are some:
I have a friend that owns a Pizza joint down the street. I was thinking it might be a good spot but there is not alot of parking...
It would be a good place to start but when it gets bigger... :dunno:
Re: If you need a reason to good to bike night.. here are some:
You would probably have a year or so before you started to get too large for that parking lot though. Obviously Steve is going to be a better resource for you but.. in my opinion it all depends on what you are looking for. Bike night up here started in just the parking lot of the ice cream place, then it got bigger so they expanded to across the street. It all starts somewhere, if you arent looking to make money from it though... the only thing that happens if you get too big for the pizza place or they have to ride around for a while. I mean Motormart has a meet and they have a relatively tiny parking lot. If you are looking to make some money then you will need to go bigger once the userbase supports it. As im sure you know... the more the userbase the more value you can bring to sponsors, the more value you bring to sponsors the more the opportunity opens up..
Stick with the pizza place and do dollar slices for now, just have some fun with it :)

its not a bad area, waiting until the end to leave has been known to get pretty hairy... not a bad location though.
Ive seen plenty of people dump it on the grass/dirt too.

Not wanting to make any money. I didn't even think of that. Just a meet and great and hangout.

Let's be honest....some of those aren't sportbikes.... It's hard to keep a 800lb Harley upright when you're on wet grass.
